“North Kerry 1st yr. Post Primary schools blitz”
The North Kerry girls 1st year blitz's took place in Tarbert G.A.A. grounds on Monday October 22nd. Three teams took part Tarbert 1, Tarbert 2 & Ballybunion. Ballybunion were the eventual winners of the blitz's and they take home the Estuary print cup for 2012. Tarbert 1 were runners up and they take home the Estuary print shield for 2012. The standard of football played on the day was of a very high standard. We wish both schools the best of luck their upcoming County and Munster competitions. A huge thanks goes to Ms Carrig & Hurley Tarbert comprehensive, Ms Hayes Ballybunion C.C., Tarbert G.A.A. Club for the use of the field & Estuary print Ballylongford for kindly sponsoring both the Cup and Shield for this competition.

“MLGFA Post Primary School Trials 2012 for 2013 interprovincials”

Schools registered and participating in Ladies Gaelic Football in the province are asked to forward players for the upcoming trials to select the strongest 24 players from the Province for the schools interprovincial series which will be held next January 2013
All four Provinces participated last January at Kinnegad, Co. Westmeath in the inaugural competition with Munster comprehensive Champions
The dates previously documented had to be changed due to matters outside the committee’s control and the following are the confirmed dates and venues

ONLY Students in senior cycle 5th & 6th year eligible to participate at the trials

Trial 1 Saturday November 17th at Neville Park at 11 am
Trial 2 Saturday November 24th at Mallow at 11 am
Final trial Saturday December 8th at 11 am venue TBC
