Annual General Meeting 22 January 1989


The AGM of the ladies Munster Council was held in the Hibernian Hotel, Mallow on Sunday 22 January at 3.00 pm.  Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, Waterford and Clare were represented.  The meeting went ahead without the secretary who arrived late.  The minutes were taken by Bridget McGrath. The Chairperson began her address by thanks all those who helped during the year.  She said the new secretary had done very well.  She congratulated Kerry on winning the Under 16 and Cork the Under 18,   Clare Junior, Senior Kerry, Club Ballmac and Spanish Point the schools.  She also thanked the referees.  
She went on to say that she was dissatisfied with Waterford's attitude during the year.  She felt more co-operation was needed.  She then went on to say that she was very disappointed with Central Council on the London issue and with the President for not contacting her to attend functions in her absence.  She finished her address by saying that she had enjoyed her term off presidency.

The Treasurer's give her report and stated that we had approximately £875 in the bank.

Matters Arising


Kerry Waterford and Clare thanked the President for all the fine work she has done during her term of presidency.

The secretary then read the minutes of the previous AGM which were adopted.

The secretary then went on to give her report.  She thanked the president for all her help during the year.  She congratulated the winners of all competitions.

This concluded the business pf the meeting.
