Munster Ladies Gaelic football are holding a referees day on Saturday March 6th next at Mallow G.A.A complex and it is important that you attend.
Munster have appointed Pat Pigott as Director for referees in the Province and he has been working with the association with aims to improve and develop all aspects for our referees in Munster. It is very important to attend this programme as this will ensure you are up to date and well prepared for games throughout the season and bring uniformity to the association for referees.
Why should I attend?
1. I currently referee Ladies Gaelic football
2. Up skill my level of refereeing
3. Bring uniformity to referees in the Province
4. Meet with Pat and other referees from the different Counties in Munster and share ideas and concerns you may have.
5. Plan for the future with Pat for referees in Munster.
6. You are asked to attend to ensure inclusion for games in your County and beyond for the 2010 season.
The programme will be delivered by trained tutors from Croke Park.
The format of the day will be as follows:
10.00 a.m. Registration -
11.00 a.m. Fitness Tests (All Referees should bring both Indoor and Outdoor Gear to facilitate the weather)
1.00 p.m. Lunch
1.30 p.m. Rules Refresher
3.00 p.m. Written Test
The referee's uniform will be available to purchase on the day, confirm your size prior to attending to ensure no disappointment.
Please confirm attendance by Monday March 1st 2010.
